WOW! I am in the Brighton Marathon 2025!

I was totally shocked but also totally honoured to recently be offered a place in the Brighton Marathon taking place on Sunday 6th April 2025. I am doing this to fundraise for my best friend because if she can go through the pain she is going through then I can go through the pain of a marathon!

Please support me in my marathon journey by donating on this page to The Salivary Gland Cancer UK Charity. It is a charity close to Loren's heart and specialises in such rare forms of cancer like ACC. Loren is hoping the money we can raise can go towards important research and life saving treatments.

Loren's Story

Loren was diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma in 2019 and had major surgery to remove a large tumour in her throat. The surgery was successful but now this extremely rare cancer has retruned and she has exhausted all available treatments. As heartbreaking as this is, Loren has the most incredible strength to keep fighting day after day. She is an incredible mother, fiance and friend.

From October 2024, I am challenging myself to complete 40 running events across the UK including Marathons, Half Marathons and 10ks.
Loren is my inspiration, she's that little voice in my head keeping me going! Without her, I would run backward ... not forward. Join me in my journey as I post regular updates and hopefully get a little better at running along the way.

This is my first ever marathon!
